Description
Typhoon boards are harvested from sustainable and renewable forests, eco friendly and excellent value. Created to a high specification our designs for blocks are robust and sturdy, but still perfectly suited for the domestic kitchen. Each of the pieces has an oiled rather than lacquered finish, which emphasises the natural look of the wood as well as allowing it to breathe, they will maintain their good looks with a regular light coating of cooking oil from time to time.

Will last forever!

We've had this Typhoon butchers block since 2003 (it was £25 back then!) and it has been used everyday since - it'll never wear out!
It's sturdy, durable and maybe a little bit heavy for some users. Large enough to make several sandwiches in one go due to its size. The raised feet means you can slide a chopping board underneath and slide stuff off the top of the block.
Again due to size & weight you'll probably want to leave the block out on the worktop all the time.
Simply wipes clean. We've only ever oiled it the once, maybe that's not enough? Watch out for drops of red wine/Ribena as they can stain the block for a while.
A sound, long-term investment for every kitchen.
